Your Role at KIK
The Projects Engineer will utilize project management tools and engineering disciplines to define and implement process solutions while working closely with the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using performance/OEE metrics, downtime data and material yield variances to identify improvement opportunities.
Utilize project management tools and engineering discipline to define and implement solutions that meet project goals and objectives within budgeted timelines, costs and resources.
Research and negotiate with vendors and third-party contractors to vet prospective projects, agree on timelines, establish agreements, and present multi-quote options and solutions to stakeholders.
Forge relationships with business partners throughout the site and organization. Communicate well and clearly, taking the time to understand manufacturing processes. Lead project update meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are updated and engaged throughout the life cycle of a project.
Ensure MOC process/Update P&ID’s/Drawings/Process Safety and Environmental impacts are stored in a designated repository.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
At least 1 year of engineering experience in a consumer goods or similar manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Experience utilizing AutoCAD or similar design software.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio.
Project management and time management experience with a record of success
