Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer drives continuous-improvement initiatives, cost analysis, and production troubleshooting for regulated operations. Job Requirements BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline 4 + years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) Demonstrated expertise in continuous-improvement methodologies and cost-reduction analysis Proven problem-solving background supporting production and troubleshooting equipment/process issues Preferred Skills Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification or project leadership Proficiency with statistical tools for process capability and root-cause analysis (e.g., SPC, 8D, DMAIC) Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and cost tracking Working knowledge of CAD software for plant layout and workflow visualization Job Responsibilities Develop and optimize work design, manufacturing layouts, and overall product flow to maximize efficiency and throughput Lead cost-analysis studies; identify and implement savings opportunities across materials, processes, and labor Provide on-floor troubleshooting support and corrective-action plans to resolve production issues swiftly Drive continuous-improvement projects, track key performance indicators, and report progress to cross-functional leadership Collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to ensure all process changes maintain compliance requirements
