The Manufacturing Engineer will sit on a small team reportinginto the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In this role you willget to work autonomously, wearing many hats, supporting themanufacturing of surgical medical devices. Description Some of the key responsibilities for the ManufacturingEngineer may include: Modeling new and existing parts inSolidWorks. Creating step-by-step visual assembly drawings alignedwith this company’s style and methodologies Working hands-on withsmall shop machines such as mills, drill presses, and jeweler’slathes. Designing and creating fixtures and prototypes as needed.

Reading and detailing mechanical drawings accurately. Developingand introducing new products into production. Creating andimproving manufacturing processes, integrating production personnelin development efforts. Writing and executing test protocols andanalyze results through test reports. Conduct practical analysis oftest outcomes. Processing and managing change orders in compliancewith MDSAP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements (trainingprovided). Profile The successful Manufacturing Engineer will havethe following background: 4 years of experience in the MedicalDevice industry or another highly regulated environment Bachelor ofScience degree in Engineering disciple Strong background withSolidworks for assembling drawings and modeling Familiarity withshop machines such as small mills, drill presses, lathes, etc.
