The Senior Quality Engineer will lead quality initiatives acrossnew product introduction and sustaining efforts, collaborating withengineering, manufacturing, and support teams to ensure productreliability and customer satisfaction. They will drive root causeinvestigations, implement quality controls, and support continuousimprovement throughout the product lifecycle at their DowntownBoston, MA faiclity. Client Details My client is atechnology-driven fitness equipment company that designs premiumconnected workout machines for the home. Description Senior QualityEngineer – Health & Hardware will: Collaborate with engineering,manufacturing, and support teams to identify and resolve potentialquality issues during product development. Lead productqualification and reliability testing to ensure readiness formanufacturing and launch. Develop and implement inspection plansand quality controls in partnership with internal teams andcontract manufacturers. Facilitate risk assessments and validationreviews to address potential safety and quality concerns. Supportregulatory compliance and coordinate with legal and certificationbodies for product approvals. Monitor quality metrics during pilotand early production builds to identify trends and driveimprovements. Analyze field and return data to identify root causesand implement corrective actions. Ensure the reliability andperformance of in-market products through sustained qualityoversight. Collaborate with customer support and field teams toinvestigate and resolve recurring product issues. Communicate keyquality metrics and escalate critical issues to relevantstakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by refiningquality processes and standards. Incorporate lessons learned frompast launches into future product designs and operations. Be onsiteat our Downtown Boston, MA facility with some flexibility Profile5-7 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on NPIand sustaining quality. Previous experience at a health / hawdwaremanufacturer is a plus Strong foundation in electromechanicalsystems and manufacturing quality principles. Proficiency in riskassessment (e.g., FMEA), validation processes, and safetycompliance. Experience supporting complex consumer electronics orsimilarly integrated hardware products. Skilled in analyzingquality data and driving root cause investigations and correctiveactions. Familiarity with regulatory certification processes andproduct compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with PLMsystems and quality documentation tools. Proven ability tocollaborate cross-functionally across engineering, manufacturing,and support teams. Experience working with overseas manufacturingpartners, especially in Asia. Comfortable managing time zones andparticipating in early morning/evening calls. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills for influencing stakeholders at alllevels. Self-motivated and adaptable, able to balance independentwork and team coordination.
