The Manufacturing/Process Injection Molding Engineer isresponsible for optimizing molding processes, supporting dailyproduction, and implementing improvements using scientific moldingprinciples. This role involves troubleshooting, introducing newmaterials and technologies, and collaborating with cross-functionalteams to drive efficiency, quality, and consistency inmanufacturing operations. Description Responsibilities:

Drive continuous improvement ofinjection molding processes using scientific molding principles.

Train team members on scientific molding techniques and ensureadherence to established standards. Identify and recommend newtechnologies and opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Lead the introduction of new materials, ensuring smooth integrationwithout performance issues. Coordinate cross-functionalproblem-solving efforts, identifying root causes and correctiveactions. Provide daily technical support for molding operations toensure consistent production quality. Support the development andmaintenance of mold design standards and best practices. Assistwith the implementation and optimization of molding automationsystems. Stay current in the field through ongoing education,industry publications, and networking. Participate inOSHA-compliant safety training and ensure safe work practices arefollowed. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment byfollowing safety policies and procedures. Perform additional tasksas assigned by plant leadership.

Profile Ideal Candidate:

Strongverbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented,observant approach. Self-motivated and independent, with aproactive mindset and willingness to drive change. Eager to learnand grow, including taking relevant courses to expand injectionmolding knowledge. Able to retain and apply new technicalinformation effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Hands-on experience with injection molding processes, preferably inplastics or metal applications. Familiarity with robotics, PLCprogramming, CAD (SolidWorks), and process monitoring systems.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and a solidunderstanding of lean manufacturing principles.
