Service Area and Residence The Controls Design Engineer will report to the Tupelo office. Remote work with occasional travel to our Tupelo office will be considered for those with 10+ years of relevant experience. What does the Electrical Controls Design Engineer do? As a Controls Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the design of electrical controls projects from the initial concept and component selection to detailed electrical system design. Your expertise will be essential in developing automation solutions for SilMan’s material handling clients. Here are some of the responsibilities of this role: Design electrical systems, including device placement, control panel layouts, and electrical schematics. Material procurement of components, design networks, develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), and validate equipment. Mentor engineers and the Controls team 10% travel to customer sites Specification analysis What Makes You a

Great Fit:

Ten or more years of relevant experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Self-motivated team player with strong oral and written communication skills Fundamental knowledge & understanding of control and electrical system design Ability to read and understand electrical prints and drawings AutoCAD Technical writing Compensation SilMan’s compensation packages are carefully customized based on the candidate’s experience, geographic location, and current market considerations.
