What You Will Do:
Raytheon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to provide engineering support and expertise to the Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center. In this role, you’ll ensure hardware is assembled properly per all drawing requirements and you’ll assist in providing information on the use of manufacturing resources in the creation of instructions to assemble the product. In addition, you’ll assist in implementing processes and will help to provide measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans to meet customer integrations and objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Assisting with manufacturing engineering initiatives within assigned work center(s) within the Forest Manufacturing Site Participating in Root Cause analysis and CORE initiatives Actively pursuing methods and processes to improve overall Quality of our product Assisting with the review and dispositioning of state-of-the-art hardware to maintain production process flow Gathering data to help to create and maintain Assembly instructions, Routers and Process Control Documents. This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective or preventive actions, or experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes Experience working with engineering drawings
Qualifications We Prefer:
Hands on experience with Electronic Circuit Card, Cabling and Electronic System assembly, rework and repair. Working knowledge of Military and Commercial Standards, Materials and Process Specifications. Working knowledge of hardware assembly, torque controls and analyzing assembly tolerance stack up. Experience with modeling in Creo, or SolidWorks. Experience in supporting design and manufacturing processes Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team. The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD – 117,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
