We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their hotforging operation. This position requires a 4 year technical degreeand 5 years of experience developing and supporting hot forgingprocesses. Knowledge of hot forging with screw type presses ispreferred. The Manufacturing Engineer will resolve productionprocesses and improve processes. Interested candidates will needthe ability to troubleshoot forging presses, tooling, material andprocess issues. Candidates with the ability to diagnose equipmentdowntime and mechanical issues is needed. The ManufacturingEngineer works with genders to specify replacement parts andtooling. The Manufacturing Engineer performs root causeinvestigations and implement steps for resolution of productionrelated engineering problems. The engineer changes new or presentprocesses and/or routings where needed for improvement of cost,quality and productivity. Past experience justifying capitalequipment to meet plant production needs with an emphasis onimproved methods through technology gains is needed.
