The Manufacturing Engineering organization within the Asheville site is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Quality Engineer to assist with production support, FAI development, and Continuous Improvement activities supporting the Ceramic & Metallic Coatings Cell.

• _Shift – Alternate Work Week (6pm – 6:30am Fri/Sat/Sun)_

• What You Will Do:

• + Work with Cell Leaders, Cell Members, Quality and Engineering staff to assure manufacturing compliance respective to the use of all existing manufacturing/process equipment, respective gages and fixtures.

+ First response to quality issues and work stoppages on the production floor. + Trouble shoot and resolve process interruptions to maintain continuous part flow and minimize downtime. + Support manufacturing engineers in implementing process improvements and trials. + Lead/Assist data collection for root cause and corrective action investigations (RCCA). + Creates and maintains standard work. + Drive improvements to manufacturing processes to reduce costs, enhance quality and efficiency, and minimize downtime. + Assists in the development and construction of manufacturing cells. + Organize and Lead Continuous Improvement activities. Drive actions to closure. Track Product Quality and identify improvements where opportunities exist. + Provide technical help and support to all Operations personnel as required and on a timely basis.

• Qualifications You Must Have:

• + HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training), with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience.

• Qualifications We Prefer:

• + Broad knowledge of Aerospace Industry and experience in turbine engine parts manufacturing. + Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and having the ability to multi-task. + Computer knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office. + Ability to execute and troubleshoot tasks with minimal supervision. + Thorough knowledge of in-house manufacturing and NDT processes.

Onsite:

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD – 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
