MUST HAVE

•Bachelor or Master Degree in Civilengineering PE Preferred but not required 5 or more years for theHydraulic Design Engineer or 10 or more years of the HydraulicDesign PM Expereince with NCDOT highly preferred

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

•Coordinate, design, and develop project scopeswhile providing technical guidance. Work independently or with ateam on hydraulic design analysis and studies. Conduct hydrologyand hydraulic analysis for transportation projects. Designstormwater management systems and retention ponds. Assist withfieldwork to verify site conditions. Use drafting tools likeMicroStation to extract data. Manage all aspects of roadwaydrainage design, including conveyance systems, stormwatermanagement, erosion control, and outfall analysis. Plan and designhydrologic and hydraulic improvements for roadway and drainageprojects, including stormwater management, pipe and ditch drainage,water quality BMPs, watersheds, streams, lakes, bridge and culverthydraulics, and erosion control.
