My client is seeking a talented and dedicated ManufacturingEngineer ready to apply their skills in a challenging and rewardingrole. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible fordeveloping, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes toensure high-quality, cost-effective production. With acommitment to continuous improvement and technical excellence, theyare looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growingteam. Description Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you willbe responsible for the following: Design, develop, and improvemanufacturing processes for CNC machining, plastic molding, andprecision fabrication. Collaborate with product development andquality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance withindustry standards (ISO 13485, AS9100, etc.). Lead processvalidation efforts including
IQ/OQ/PQ
for medical and aerospacecomponents. Create and maintain process documentation, includingwork instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans. Evaluate productionprocesses for efficiency, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions fornon-conformances and customer complaints. Implement leanmanufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productionflow and reduce waste. Specify tooling, fixtures, and equipmentneeded for production. Provide technical support to operators andtechnicians on the shop floor. Participate in cross-functionalteams for continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
Profile A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have: Strongunderstanding of manufacturing processes and systems. Bachelor’sDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, orrelated field. 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineeringrole, preferably in a regulated industry (medical, aerospace).Strong knowledge of CNC machining and/or plastic manufacturingprocesses. Experience with process validation and quality systems(ISO 13485, AS9100). Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorkspreferred) and CAM tools. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigmaprinciples; certification a plus (e.g., Green Belt). Excellentproblem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
