Job Summary
Provide Manufacturing Engineering capability to operational and development programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects utilizing engineering and problem-solving skills. Accountable for delivering robust, capable manufacturing process technology as it applies to materials, tooling, and part fabrication and assembly
Job Responsibilities

  • Determines the sequence of operations in the manufacture of parts.
  • Prepares and updates routers and operation sheets. Researches new manufacturing methods.
  • Establishes manufacturing standards and equipment.
  • Implements new product design and introduction
  • Determines and troubleshoots manufacturing processes at all levels of complexity.
  • Engineers tools, fixture and gauging with CAD software
  • Gives technical direction production, and inspection personnel as needed.
  • Opportunity to learn CAM programming
  • Implements “Lean” practices and procedures.
  • Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers.
  • Problem solving to determine and document root causes.
  • Develops corrective actions to prevent future problem occurrences.
  • Interfaces with customers concerning design problems, part prints, etc.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors for quote and installation of new equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
    Job Qualifications
    Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or the equivalent engineering experience in manufacturing processes, materials, and designs.
  • Thorough knowledge of forging manufacturing and quality requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and data base computer software (i.e. Word, Excel).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • CAD software proficiency
  • Experience with manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking (At least 7hrs/day)
  • Ability to carry and lift weight up to 25lbs
  • Bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling required (At least 2hrs/day)
