Position Overview:

As acore driver of lean management, the Lean Specialist is responsiblefor enhancing company operational efficiency, reducing waste, andoptimizing processes through systematic metrics control, projectimplementation, lean training, and activity planning. This rolerequires aligning with company strategy to implement the leanmanagement system, coordinating cross-departmental resources, andachieving continuous improvement in key areas such as cost,quality, and delivery. The estimated salary range is $80,000 -$120,000, depending on experience.

Core Responsibilities:
LeanMetrics Development and Monitoring:

Lead the development ofdepartment-level lean management metrics, breaking them down toteam levels. Establish a monitoring mechanism, regularly analyzedata fluctuations, identify waste areas, provide improvementsuggestions, and ensure follow-up by responsible departments. Usevisual management boards (e.g., QCDIP) to track metrics achievementin real-time and provide data support for managementdecision-making.

Full-Cycle Management of Lean Projects:

Identifyhigh-value improvement opportunities and lead or participate inlean improvement projects (e.g., efficiency, cycle time, quality).Develop project plans and drive implementation, utilizingmethodologies like DMAIC and PDCA. Coordinate cross-departmentalresources (production, quality, logistics) to ensure projects meetgoals on schedule. Consolidate project experiences and developreplicable improvement models, promoting best practices acrossbusiness lines.

Development and Implementation of Lean TrainingSystem:

Conduct tiered lean training courses (e.g., 5S, TPM, valuestream mapping, IE tools) for management, frontline employees, andspecialized teams. Update training materials (case studies,visualization tools) and enhance lean awareness through theoreticalclasses, hands-on practice, and simulations. Track trainingeffectiveness and evaluate knowledge conversion through assessmentsand improvement proposals, fostering a lean culture in everydaywork.

Lean Activities Planning and Execution:

Organizeannual/quarterly/monthly lean-themed activities (e.g., Lean Month,Eight Wastes) to promote a continuous improvement culture. Build across-departmental lean exchange platform (e.g., regularimprovement sharing sessions, benchmark business line visits).

Requirements:
Professional Background:

Bachelor’s degree or higher,preferably in Industrial Engineering (IE), Mechanical Engineering,or related fields. Certification in lean production, Six Sigma(Green Belt or above preferred). Over 3 years of work experience,leading or assisting in cross-departmental lean improvementprojects (e.g., 5S, TPM, VSM, SMED, standardized work).

Proficient in using Excel and otherdata analysis tools to identify improvement opportunities.

ProjectManagement:

Experienced in cross-departmental collaboration andadept at driving project implementation.

Communication andTraining:

Clear logic and structured expression skills.

ToolApplication:

Proficient in using lean tools like A3 reports,standardized work, ECRS.

Language:

Fluent in English and Chinese.
