Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsiblefor designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturingprocesses. This includes collaborating with production teams,ensuring product quality, reducing waste, improving efficiency, andapplying engineering principles to manufacturing solutions. Therole involves a continuous effort to enhance processes, supportproduct development, and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
    Process Design & Optimization:

    Develop andimplement manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts to ensureefficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.

      MachiningProcesses:

      Deep understanding of various machining processes,including CNC milling, turning, grinding, and drilling. Knowledgeof cutting tools, materials and machining parameters. Understandingof material properties and their behavior during machining. Abilityto select appropriate materials for specific applications.

      • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

        Identify issues in production,participate in root cause analysis, and implement correctiveactions to resolve problems affecting quality or throughput.

      CostReduction:

      Work on initiatives that drive cost savings throughbetter utilization of resources, improving production efficiency,and reducing material waste.

        Collaboration:

        Work closely withproduction teams, maintenance, and other engineering departments toensure smooth manufacturing operations.

          Continuous Improvement:

          Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, SixSigma, Kaizen) to enhance manufacturing processes.

            Safety andCompliance:

            Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safetystandards, industry regulations, and environmental laws.

            • Technology Implementation:

              Introduce and integrate new technologiesor machinery to improve manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.

            Documentation & Reporting:

            Maintain accurate records ofprocesses, designs, improvements, and production performancemetrics.

              Tooling and Fixtures:

              Experience in designing andselecting tooling and fixtures for machining operations. Knowledgeof tool holding and work holding principles.

              Education andexperience:
              • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
              • Relevant experience ina machining environment is highly desirable.
              • Expertise in CAD andCAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), process simulation tools,and ERP systems. Ability to create and interpret technical drawingsand 3D models. Understanding of G-Code and programming languages isa plus Knowledge of measurement tools and techniques for ensuringpart accuracy and quality. Familiarity with quality controlstandards and procedures.
              • Strong understanding of manufacturingprocesses (e.g., machining, assembly, welding, molding, etc.).
              • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other processimprovement methodologies is a plus.
              • Strong problem-solvingskills and the ability to think analytically to troubleshootmachining issues.
              • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
              • Machine Shop experience (preferred)
