Manufacturing & Testing Engineer Position Available In Erie, New York

Build/Manufacturing – Follow written and verbal instructions to build small sub-components and assemblies. Work with sensitive electronic devices and follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures. Design improvements – Produce solutions starting from concept through design, prototyping, development, testing, design verification/validation, manufacturing, and post-introduction monitoring. Prepare models and detailed drawings with CAD. Performance testing – Report and document any issues encountered during quality control testing. Ability to work on projects simultaneously in a parallel fashion. Experience with electrical, optical, and chemical sensors is beneficial. Experience in repair and maintenance. Proficient with common data-processing software (i.e., Excel). Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechanical, industrial, electronics, or aerospace. Two or more years of full-time industry experience is preferred.
