Description:

The Quality Engineer II will support the Advanced Optics Division by managing customer feedback from initial submission through resolution. This includes validating and classifying feedback, initiating and tracking corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands strong root cause analysis skills, effective communication with internal stakeholders, and the ability to synthesize data for quality reporting. This individual will be the key liaison between customers, commercial teams, and manufacturing sites to ensure high standards of product and service quality.

Requirements:
  • Review and validate SalesForce feedback entries from customer service and commercial groups
  • Classify entries by risk level and transfer to site-specific CAPA systems (SharePoint, EtQ, etc.)
  • Follow up with plant, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure timely completion of corrective actions
  • Escalate critical issues to site and division leadership
  • Create and monitor KPIs and action plans related to customer satisfaction
  • Lead training sessions on the feedback process and root cause analysis tools
  • Drive improvements to feedback workflows, aligning SalesForce, SAP, and EtQ systems
  • Prepare monthly division quality reports using
PowerBI, SalesForce, and EtQ Required Qualifications Education:
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field (minimum)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science (preferred)
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with time spent in a quality or process engineering role
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Effective project management and multitasking capabilities
  • Independent worker with strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to convey data analyses clearly across multiple organizational levels
Desired Skills:
  • Proficiency with 8D methodology and problem-solving tools
  • Familiarity with SalesForce, SAP, PowerBI, EtQ, and Camstar
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles
