Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Design Services, you will play a key role in providing support to Sales and Technical Teams providing preliminary system design drawings, construction documents, equipment specifications, and cost proposals. As a Design Engineer, you should have a strong understanding of Security Systems, the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and work closely with manufactures on custom quotes and designs.

Other Responsibilities:

Create equipment lists based on functional needs of the client
Develop relationship with Clients to review design proposals
Work with Project Team to verify system functionality
Continuously maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers

Education & Qualifications:

Two-year electronics degree, four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Vendor (Genetec, S2, etc.) certification highly preferred
Minimum 5 years working experience in the Security field required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to review schematics for Security systems.
Ability to create plans and modify drawings.
