Adecco Search is actively seeking a
- Manufacturing Engineer in Rochester, NY. The Manufacturing Engineer
- will support production operations by optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role will focus on process development, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance. The

- Job Duties for the Manufacturing Engineer in
Rochester, NY:
- + Analyze production workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new manufacturing methods. + Support the introduction of new products and ensure smooth transitions from prototype to production. + Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. + Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. + Assist in equipment selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance planning. + Work with suppliers and vendors to improve material sourcing and process reliability. + Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. + Develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions, process maps, and standard operating procedures. + Provide technical support to production teams and train operators on new processes.
- Required Skills for the
Manufacturing Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- 3-7 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or automotive parts production.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques. + Experience with CNC machining, welding, or automation is a plus. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
