• Job Duties for the Manufacturing Engineer in

Rochester, NY:

• + Analyze production workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new manufacturing methods. + Support the introduction of new products and ensure smooth transitions from prototype to production. + Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. + Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. + Assist in equipment selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance planning. + Work with suppliers and vendors to improve material sourcing and process reliability. + Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. + Develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions, process maps, and standard operating procedures. + Provide technical support to production teams and train operators on new processes.

• Required Skills for the

Manufacturing Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 3-7 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or automotive parts production.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques. + Experience with CNC machining, welding, or automation is a plus. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
