Salary:

$85,000 – $115,000 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the manufacturability of components and assemblies for current and newly developed products. In this role, you will focus on improving product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and safety while developing new machines, processes, and capital investments. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to drive process improvements and ensure manufacturing excellence. Key Responsibilities Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems, improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, and costs. Develop and maintain manufacturing routers, work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures), tooling, and fixtures. Support machining, assembly, testing, and CMM inspection operations. Provide technical guidance and training to new employees. Develop and support CNC machine programming. Approve and process Engineering Change Requests related to manufacturing. Lead new equipment/process development for new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. Validate process changes using internal First Article Inspection (FAI) processes. Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Conduct periodic process audits of internal and vendor operations. Research, recommend, and procure new manufacturing technologies. Manage projects to ensure timely completion within budget. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of technical manufacturing experience (flow meters or measurement equipment a plus). Proficiency with CNC programming and fixture design. Experience with GibbsCAM and SolidWorks (or similar software). Ability to write/edit programs for multi-axis machining centers (turning, drilling, threading, etc.). Familiarity with Fanuc Controls. Preferred Qualifications Experience with

PCDMIS CMM

software. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams. Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn independently. Training in Quality methods and tools, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles is a plus. Work Environment Primarily performed in a shop environment around CNC machinery; some work in an office environment at a computer workstation. Physical Requirements Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs. Standing, kneeling, crouching for extended periods may be required. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. Office work may require prolonged sitting or standing.
