Assist and lead production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and reliability issues from a problem-solving perspective. Develop, manage and implement process/equipment improvement related projects and interface with Production and Engineering to provide process engineering support.
Responsibilities
YOUR ROLE AND
RESPONSIBILITIESAs part of our dynamic engineering development team, you will design, develop and test sophisticated RF/Microwave Antennas and RF feeds.
This will involve:
Supports the Surface Mount Assembly value stream by providing manufacturing support and expertise to microelectronic assembliesLead cross-functional teams to design and install capital projects primarily focused on new and upgraded projects throughout the facility, which may include testing, manufacturing, and/or facilities equipmentProvides complex design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturabilityAssists/Leads in equipment and production floor layout activities to promote an efficient flow of product and minimize production lead times through various assembly operationsAssists/Leads in capital equipment requirements forecasting, develops ROI analysis reports, prepares capital equipment requests, and documents/maintains equipment operating proceduresPrepares process validation protocols and coordinates all activities related to their execution, including the preparation and approval of all related completion reports, prepares detailed process specifications, work instructions, and support in equipment installation qualification activities for new equipmentConceive, develop, and implement equipment, tooling, processes to improve efficiencies, increase productivity, and/or improve quality, follow, and observe all regulatory requirements applicable to the area of responsibility and comply with Client Safety/Environmental Requirement and safe working conditions and practicesAnalyzes new processes and equipment to achieve continuous improvement of present methods.
Communicates and monitors process and material quality targetsDevelops process documentation and training materials for new processes, materials, and equipmentOccasional travel as needed, up to 10%Other duties as assignedQualificationsHOW TO SUCCEEDYou combine a solid background in electronics assembly with creative and critical thinking. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering)Three (3) years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer within a manufacturing environmentThree (3) years’ experience with manufacturing support to microelectronic assemblies, electronic assemblies, etc.
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong mechanical/electrical and proc ss aptitude5-10+ years of engineering experienceLean manufacturing knowledge and certificationWorking knowledge of electrical manufacturing systemsAerospace or Defense ExperienceElectro-Mechanical product experienceSurface mount and automation experienceKnowledge of AS9100 quality systemsComputer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI), AutoCADStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organizationOperational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems.

Salary Range:
Senior Process Engineer III:
$85,481.43 – $128,222.15 annually.
Principal Process Engineer IV:
$98,303.64 – $147,455.47 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
