Ashaway, RI Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in production. The Process Engineer will work closely with various departments to implement best practices in process engineering, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic components in medical devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain documentation for quality assurance.
Utilize CAD and SolidWorks for designing and modeling equipment and processes.
Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions.
Train and mentor manufacturing staff on process best practices and safety protocols. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the medical device or plastics industry.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
Knowledge of polymer materials commonly used in medical devices Lean Six Sigma certification For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor for this position. Preferred Skills
