Job Description Title:

Key Accountabilities:

+ Provide daily technical support to manufacturing operations, including maintenance and functional groups. + Analyze product designs to determine the most efficient manufacturing methods. + Specify tools, equipment, and processes for part/assembly production or evaluate existing processes. + Direct the design and construction of tools and equipment or recommend process improvements. + Develop new tools, equipment, and processes for manufacturing. + Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to implement new systems and manage existing ones. + Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and products. + Write and implement work instructions, processes, and procedures for production and department use. + Analyze product variations and implement process capability improvements. + Develop and implement manufacturing control strategies and productivity improvements. + Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct. + Perform special projects as required.

Basic Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; or 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience. + In ordered to be considered for this role, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.

Preferred:

+ Strong analytical ability where problems are complex. + Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong knowledge of design of manufacturing processes. + Strong knowledge of materials and methods of manufacture. + Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. + Strong organization, planning and follow-up skills. + Good project management skills + Ability to travel domestically and internationally. + Ability to work overtime as required to support production or project work. + Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite + Proficient with CAD and modeling software + Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures + Experience with
