Essential job functions: Prepares, checks and releases design documentation that will satisfy requirements for completion date, performance and reliability. Responsible for documentation methods that ensures high levels of productivity. Part Number, BOM Creation, Configuration Creation / Input and maintenance. Process Flow Documentation and Design (PLM and ERP).
Requirements:
Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant or technical subject or equivalent work experience. Minimum equivalent 3 years’ experience. Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting required, preferably AutoDesk Revit, Solid Edge and/or AutoDesk Inventor. Proficient in Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) techniques. Experience creating and sustaining a structured bill of materials in PLM and ERP systems. Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal). Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges. Exhibits appropriate attributes in all aspects of performance and demeanor. Accuracy, results orientation, planning, effective information management. Positive attitude for working in a Teamwork environment.
Preferences:

The
CAD & BOM
specialist will work closely with Vertiv’s Deployment Engineering team and the custom Integrated Modular Solutions (IMS) Engineering team to develop workshop drawings and Bills of Materials. These Engineering teams are responsible for the design of modular Power and IT Data Centers Modules and create design and manufacturing drawings and the associated BOMs. This position will be responsible for the release of the design documentation and designed BOM entry into a regional Product Line Management (PLM) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This will include cross functional team support throughout the development and release process.,
