Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical
3+ years of experience in production engineering
General Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong English communication skills
Demonstrated decision-making and logical thinking
Ability to cooperate and coordinate effectively
Participation in production meetings to improve KPIs such as OEE, downtime, output, cycle time, changeover time, scrap, FPY, and quality loss
Ability to manage and support production and assembly lines
Capability to support customer audits and line release processes
Skilled in coordinating process and engineering changes (ECRs) per company standards
Experience in working with external machine suppliers for technical solution sourcing
Familiarity with cost analysis for new product releases including time, tools, and materials
Knowledge of plant safety regulations and proper use of industrial safety equipment
Ability to support production supervisors as needed
Willingness to participate in international project meetings and take on related responsibilities
Essential Functions
Manage production planning and coordination for Chrome Plating Lines, including PPAPs, audits, and change management
Lead and support production improvement projects to meet performance targets
Coordinate process changes and manage engineering change requests
Analyze and plan new product introductions and cost efficiencies
Utilize quality tools to prevent non-conformities in product and processes
Implement continuous improvement tools such as
PDCA, 8D
Reports, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, 5S, and Bosch Production System (BPS)
Contribute to value stream design and MAKE scope projects
Improve cycle time (CT) and OEE across the International Production Network
Apply Bosch standard quality tools to solve recurring quality issues
Investigate and implement corrective and preventive actions for discrepancies
