Co-op – Engineering (Fall 2025) Position Available In Lancaster, South Carolina

Your Key Responsibilities Hands-on involvement of building electro-mechanical prototypes
Process development for electro-mechanical assemblies
Tool Design using 3D CAD and equipment procurement
Manufacturing process improvement (Lean Manufacturing waste reductions)
Creation of digital tools which aid in product development of electro-mechanical assemblies.
Participants should be responsible, able to work independently, and open to instruction
Will be given developmental opportunities through tasks such as projects, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler’s manufacturing and technological processes

Your Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong computer skills and knowledge (

Especially Microsoft Office:

Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
Assertive approach to problem solving
Ability to prioritize
