Chemical Engineering or MechanicalEngineering Degree Responsibilities:

Responsible for the resolutionof production process issues utilizing problem solving techniquesto analyze, identify root cause(s), develop and implementsolutions. (lead Remediation Efforts) May be required to act asProduct Champion for a specific product or product line with thefollowing leadership responsibilities: The focal point inoperations for the products which they have responsibility for.

Leads the resolution of production process issues utilizing problemsolving techniques to analyze, identify root cause(s), develop andimplement solutions. Leads the process engineering and productionsupport activities required for the manufacture of a product line.

Provides technical support and leadership for continuousimprovement team efforts focused on process improvement andimprovements to product manufacturability. (Lead on Projects)Provides technical leadership and hands-on engineering support,including specification and implementation of assembly/test methodsand process optimization. Provides technical support for continuousimprovement efforts conducting root cause analysis then formulatingand implementing corrective action proposals. Responsible forestablishing the Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP) for a product orproduct line including process flow, production floor layout,equipment, line balancing, etc. Writes process procedures, changeorders, equipment specifications, validation plans, and reports.

Performs research on technology, equipment and tooling to improveprocess quality, yield or cost; Generates proposals for purchaseand implementation, including cost of ownership, ROI and benefitanalysis. Performs engineering design of test equipment, assemblyequipment, fixtures and tools; Performs

validationactivities. Participates in the introduction of new products intomanufacturing; Collaborate with R D and suppliers to improveproduct robustness and manufacturability both pre- andpost-release. Supervises (as assigned) personnel in classificationsbelow that of Senior Mfg. Engineer. May lead or participate in LeanSix Sigma projects of significant scope and complexity
