Job DetailsResponsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturingprocesses and equipment using principles of robotics, machinevision, and sensors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams todefine production requirements, identify potential manufacturingchallenges, and develop innovative solutions. Evaluate currentmanufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in termsof efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop andmaintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes,including process maps, equipment specs, and standard operatingprocedures. Oversee the installation, validation, and performancequalification of new manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot andresolve manufacturing issues to ensure minimal disruption toproduction schedules. Stay current with the latest developments inmanufacturing technology and scientific instrumentation, andpropose their application where relevant. Ensure all manufacturingprocesses and equipment comply with industry standards andregulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering,preferably in the scientific or high-tech industry. Provenexpertise in robotics, machine vision, and sensors. Strongknowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and costoptimization. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention todetail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with theability to work effectively in a team and communicate complextechnical concepts. Proficiency in relevant software, such as CADand CAM systems, and programming languages such as Python or C++.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related tomanufacturing in the scientific industry. Demonstrated ability tomanage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strongcommitment to continuous learning and staying current with thelatest developments in the field.
