Design Engineers are responsible for the research and design of acompany’s new products and systems. They perform various tasks inan engineering department including drafting blueprints, creatingtest prototypes, and overseeing the manufacturing process. Researchand draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics. This role ison-site at our Lebanon, VA facility.

Responsibilities:

Research anddraft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics Identifysolutions to improve production efficiency Use design software todevelop models and drawings of new products Research and draftblueprints, engineering plans, and graphics Design new engineeringproducts and processes Craft models and drawings of products usingCAD Maintain existing engineering records and designs Assess allengineering prototypes to determine issues or risks Estimate costlimits and budgets for new designs Supervise the manufacturingprocess of all designs Coordinate with other engineers, management,and the creative department Develop test prototypes Any other Jobassigned by

Supervisor Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred indesign engineering, engineering, product design, or experience in arelevant field Prior Heavy Equipment Design Experience Preferred Aminimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills Accurate and strong attention todetail Proficient in MS Office and popular design software Abilityto multitask and manage time effectively
