Our Millport, Alabama lumber mill has immediate openings for Production Operators to support our Weekend Operations in the sawmill and planer mill. The Weekend shift is scheduled as follows:

Friday through Sunday5:00 PM to 6:30 AMPositions available include:

• Trimmer, Edger, Tilt-hoist, Primary break-down, Gang-saw, FeederEquipment operator
• Merchandiser areaForklift operator
• finished goods transportThese are full-time, non-exempt positions that provide excellent growth potential and opportunities for advancement. Our state-of-the-art mill produces high-quality lumber used for residential construction throughout the USA. We are proud of our reputation for manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement!
• Pay ranges from $23.69 to $31.11.
• $1 shift differential.

Starting pay is contingent upon the job assigned after the completion of initial onboarding and new hire training.

Must be able to work the Weekend ShiftMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDSuccessfully pass the APT AssessmentMust personally complete the employment applicationSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physicalAble to work overtime, holidays, as well as night and rotating shiftsAble to perform labor-intensive workAble to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipmentAble to complete forklift trainingAble to work safely around moving manufacturing equipment and machineryAble to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, work from heights, and stand or walk for 23 hours at a time for 13 hoursForklift experience is preferredBasic computer skills a plusResume detailing education and work history, is preferred
