Manufacturing Technician I Responsibilities :

Fabricate parts, pieces, and panels according to company workmanship standards and/or client specifications to maintain design integrity Uses array of tools and equipment to wax, sand, trim, shim, cut and make other adjustments to assemble components together and align them properly Perform tasks with a high degree of care and attention to detail, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment Learn and master all tasks associated with material waxing and material sanding that are assigned Provides timely feedback to other project manager and fabrications engineers to support continual process and product improvement Prioritize safety through appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel-toed shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and long-sleeved shirts Operate with appropriate safety awareness around moving manufacturing equipment and machinery

Physical Requirements:

Reach outward or above the shoulder Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds Repetitive use of hands and fingers Use of vibrating tools Exposure to constant and intermittent noise, fumes, smoke and gases, solvents, paint, grease and oils, variable temperatures, and elevated or slippery surfaces Ability to walk/stand on concrete floors continuously during shift (up to 10 hours)

Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Strong commitment to a positive attitude, continual improvement, and personal integrity Ability to respond to written and verbal instructions Ability to read, write and perform basic math Ability to work overtime, holidays, and some weekends
