Position Summary The Assembly Team Operator is responsible forthe operation of equipment, product segregation, qualityinspection, disposition and documentation along with manual productassembly as required. Perform basic preventive maintenance,changeover and troubleshooting on equipment; ensure compliance withSOP’s and specifications; perform data collection and productdispositioning. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform startup and ongoing equipment and product inspections as required perapplicable documentation. Segregate and disposition product basedon equipment and product inspections. Conduct shop floor datacollection tasks. Perform manual assembly and product rework tasksas required. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence ofnonconformances relating to product and processes. Writenonconformances and holds when required. Scan product into MRPsystem; perform testing using computer; create traceability labels.

Initiate and recommend or provide solutions to quality or safetyconcerns through designated communication channels. Ensurecompliance with company policies and business practices, includingFDA regulations, GMP and ISO requirements. Assist with the trainingof new Operators. Perform other related duties as assigned orrequired. Knowledge & Skills Good Verbal and written communicationskills. Knowledge/use of computers. Adequate fine motor handcoordination required. Sound judgment for use in productdisposition. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience Must beat least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required. Lessthan 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred. WorkEnvironment Work involves use of manufacturing equipment or closeproximity to equipment. May be exposed to biohazards and/orchemicals. Work environment can range from clean room and propergowning requirements to a production area that is open, potentiallynoisy and with moving equipment. Recurring physical demands includestanding, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, bilateral motioninvolving hands, wrists and upper body. Concentrated visualattention to perform checks on products and components. Typicallyrequires travel less than 5% of the time.
