Opportunity:
As a Flow Line Tech, you will work in a flowline where parts move throughout a set of standard operations that vary slightly from part to part. Each operation is unique and adds to the fit, form, function, of parts, until final dimensions are met. In the role you will be removing burrs, reaming holes, marking, forming, and assembly. Days will go quickly as you’re constantly moving, being responsible for multiple operations.
Location:
Eastford, CT This is a full-time role 3:30 am to 12 AM Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
Responsibilities:
Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from machining
Countersink and ream holes with hand tools
Marking parts using Electronic Etch/Dot Peen
Assemble parts using rivets and nut plates
Entry level Bending, Blanking, Forming using a hydraulic press to manipulate metal
Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to Company policy
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Entry Level On The Job Training
High School Diploma or GED
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Mechanical skills
Ability to be on your feet all day
Ability to use air and electric tools to remove metal
Willingness to learn new skills
Self-starter/motivated team player
Physical Requirements:
Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be able to frequently stand and walk.
