This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and precision, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing goals of hurricane shutters. The demand for hurricane shutters is stronger then ever, there is no shortage of hurricanes. You have job security working for Windshutters! Duties Operate and monitor drill press, punch press, and saw. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed. Follow standard manufacturing cut sheets per job. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keeping jobs organized and labeled, including documenting completed work. This position requires handling extruded aluminum daily and the ability to lift material 50 lbs and more. Cutting and assembly of accordion shutters, roll shutters, bahama shutters, etc. Ability to drive for deliver and pick up of material to job sites. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with machinery operation and power tools is a plus. Attention to detail is important. This position is also trainable as this is a specific product and field we operate in. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure. Benefits
