This technician will support our second shift assembly team. Work hours are @3-11pm. Responsibilities Assist in troubleshooting assembly problems (quality, tooling and process-related) and resolve in a timely manner in order to meet customer requested ship dates Coordinate with line leaders regarding organization and control of tools and supplies Inspects assembly tools for wear & damage Sets up and controls gauges and gauging techniques Reduce production variances by reviewing closed orders by coordinating with Manufacturing and Engineering departments Requisitions supplies (epoxies, solder, bags, drill bits, etc.) Minor set-up and maintenance of equipment (baggers, epoxy dispenser, solder units, form over, leak-detector) Update and maintain training records to latest revisions to maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
Assist in the training of operators on new or revised processes, products or procedures Coordinate assembly related rework-MRB activity (breakdown/rebuild) Assist in developing processes and tooling/fixtures for new product Create and update Efficiency, MDR and Quality Charts Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment Performs difficult assembly operations as necessary Assists production manager as needed Requirements Knowledge in IPC and J-Standards soldering criteria preferred Production experience or technical school, engineering studies, or combination thereof Communication using excellent written and verbal skills Interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics Knowledge in use of micrometers and calipers, and calibration of each Experience in Office software tools: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point Review and revise test procedures in order to streamline production Work independently and in team environment; collaborate with engineering on a daily basis to provide feedback of testing, troubleshooting, or discrepancies Understanding of
ISO 9001, FOD
