POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for performing all activities in the operation of equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management determines necessary. Reports to Supervisor. Takes direction from lead worker or set-up tech. Following instructions from process sheet, determine method of press operation. Visually inspect parts for defects and flashing. Trim parts with hand tools, as required. Report presses operation irregularities and stock adjustments to lead workers. Operate several presses, as required. Operate secondary operations as required. Perform housekeeping activities to maintain work area and assure cleanliness of environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
