Company Overview Our client is a global manufacturer focused on precision components and advanced injection molding technologies. Their culture emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration, and they are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support process reliability and equipment performance across the production floor. Position Overview The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and play a key role in equipment maintenance, process improvement, and production support. This is a hands-on role for a technician who thrives in a dynamic, team-based manufacturing environment and brings strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Schedule This position follows a 12-hour shift schedule: 3 days on, 3 days off , rotating to cover some weekends and holidays as part of the standard shift cycle. Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing processes by maintaining and repairing production and facilities equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems Participate in the development and implementation of equipment parameters to ensure product quality Execute preventive and predictive maintenance per internal systems (e.g., MaintainX) Operate and maintain conveyors, robots, chillers, motors, EOATs, and other automated equipment Assist in robotic path development and programming to support new product launches Identify non-conformities and recommend solutions to maintain quality and process stability Calibrate equipment to ensure repeatability and compliance with control plans Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Train production personnel in application methods and control plan requirements Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and process activity Work safely and in compliance with health, safety, and quality standards Qualifications Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience is required Experience with industrial controls and injection molding equipment strongly preferred Familiarity with robotics, CNC equipment, and PLCs is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Windows environments and basic computer troubleshooting Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to team goals Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays Benefits Bonus opportunities based on performance Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with company match Opportunities for professional development and career growth
