Press Operator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Gainesville, GA 30503 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Press Operator will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, utilizing tools and machinery to produce components that meet specifications. Responsibilities Operate stamping presses and other machinery to fabricate parts according to specifications. Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance, including lathe operations and welding tasks. Utilize SolidWorks and CAM programming for design modifications and enhancements. Conduct quality checks using micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in production. Collaborate with the assembly line team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and conducting necessary repairs. Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role. Proficiency in fabricating parts using stamping presses, lathes, and welding techniques. Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAM programming is highly desirable. Strong understanding of quality control measures and the ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers. Ability to work effectively on an assembly line while adhering to safety standards. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain certification is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
