PM Job Description:
We are seeking a Drug Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Gretna, LA. This is an entry-level position responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of drug manufacturing equipment in compliance with cGMP standards. The successful candidate will be involved in weighing and mixing raw materials and active ingredients, maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and facility, and completing batch records with accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain drug manufacturing equipment in accordance with company standards. Accurately weigh raw materials and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for blending. Ensure equipment and the manufacturing environment are kept clean and in good repair. Complete work orders and batch record documentation in compliance with cGMP requirements. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Participate in required training programs, including cGMP and safety training. Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Must pass all required background checks and screenings prior to assignment start. Previous experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting is a plus, but not required.
Additional Information:
Accessioning duties are part of the role. Virtual tours for candidates are scheduled via Microsoft Teams (up to 15 participants per tour; no need to be shortlisted before attending a tour). Retention bonus of $400 after 30 days and another $400 after 90 days, provided there are no attendance or performance issues.
