Production Assembly Tech – Temporary Machine Specialty and Manufacturing Youngsville, LA 70592 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment. This is a temporary position, candidate will work through a staffing agency . Pay is $17 to $18 an hour DOE. Drug Free Workplace, pre-screens apply. Duties Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble products. Conduct quality checks on assembled items to ensure they meet company standards. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the factory environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during the assembly process. Skills Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely, with relevant certification being a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an environment where the employee may be exposed to wet or humid conditions , work in high precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, and working around moving mechanical parts .

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: High School graduate or hold GED certificate. Prior assembling oilfield components and manufacturing drawings required.
