Overall Purpose of the Job
New manufacture assembly/disassembly and/or repair and maintenance of all Frank’s owned equipment and accessories. May assemble, disassemble, repair and/or maintain equipment that is mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic as required.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
Assemble, trouble shoot, install, testing, service, disassembly and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems
Serve as liaison between engineering, manufacturing and operations departments
May pull parts from inventory to be used towards projects
Performs daily assignments with little to no supervision or input towards executing daily assignments
Available to be called out, without supervision
Operates in a leadership capacity
Track work time and input data into applicable Frank’s database systems
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Attend required training as deemed necessary by job duties; training, operations, safety, etc
Learn and become conversant with all Frank’s philosophies, policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned by management
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of experience and/or knowledge of assembly and/or oilfield equipment
Must have the ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Must have basic to advanced mechanical skills, ability to bend/crimp tubing & hoses, and safety knowledge
Experience in and knowledge of oilfield drilling and completion systems is a plus
Must have the ability to read/use manuals, guidelines, drawings and specifications to perform job duties & produce parts
