Job Summary:
Our Production Line Operators are responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently. Operates production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management Utilizes Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions Completes change overs for their assigned equipment and/or production line Learns and maintains customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality Reads and follows instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork Reports any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to supervisor Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, assists with product change overs and ensures all tools are accounted for Ensures the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned High school diploma or GED 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed to meet business demand Benefits include health insurance, 401k, LTD, paid vacation and holidays!
