PRODUCTION SUPPORT POSITION DESCRIPTION

GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Production Support employee, you will be part of the production department under the Production Manager. Your daily tasks would be at the discretion of your manager, and could consist of the following:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Help with QC, receiving & putting away incoming parts and VBC jobs Rinse & set up Nitrodoser, Easydoser and Minidoser systems Assist loading and unloading evacuation ovens Assemble valve stems, solenoids, pneumatic heads, vacuum pumps and other “VM” assembly production orders Maintain in-house pumps and preventive maintenance on machinery and various shop equipment Vacuum test incoming KTI welded assemblies Wrap stainless steel inner

S-5, S-10, ES-5, ES-10

& Cobraflex flex hose with appropriate insulation per assembly drawings Kit jobs Test returned NCMR parts for QMS Maintain clean and organized work area, including work bench, machine shop, Semiflex wrapping area Additional tasks as the need arises

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 The person in this position needs to be able to lift a minimum of 65 lbs., the weight of a control console. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documents.  Proficient using various hand and power tools.  Knowledge of appropriate safety practice while on the production floor.  Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

OTHER POSITION DETAILS

 This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and requires punching the time clock  You will be a non-exempt employee and will be eligible for overtime pay for authorized overtime hours more than eight hours in any workday
