To learn more, please visit us at www.terramac.com. Terramac is looking for Production Technicians at our St. Louis, MO location. The Production Technician assembles custom-built crawler units by interpreting blueprint specifications and using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, at times welding equipment and machine tools.
What the Production Technician does:
Maintain and operate a safe work environment. Meet customer demand by custom building crawler units by interpreting specifications using blueprints and drawings. Rework and repair used equipment for sale and rent. Keep a safe environment by completing all jobs in a manner that complies with health, safety and environmental practices, policies, and procedures. Make sure you’re completing required documentation and keeping your work area and tools clean and in proper operation. Participate in on-the-job, technical, policy, and procedural training.
What the Production Technician needs:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of mechanical, automotive, or assembly experience. Ability to think independently, problem-solve, and be flexible. Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Ability to work 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with overtime as required. Ability to provide your own basic hand tools.
What Helps:
Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, or HVAC systems preferred. A technical school certificate in a related field a plus. The above list is non-exhaustive.
