Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Production Technician to join our team at the Stennis Space Center! If you are hardworking, a self-starter, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment, join our team!
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret detailed assembly and installation drawings.
• Work with materials which may be light, delicate, and easily damaged.
• Operate a sewing machine.
• Work from diagrams, drawings, written and oral instructions, templates and patterns to measure and cut insulation materials to size and to fabricate/assemble thermal multi layer insulation blankets.
• Work with resistance measurements, using ohmmeters or similar equipment as these measurements will be used as part of the build process and work will be performed in a class 8 clean room
  Desired skills
• Experience fabricating MLI thermal blankets
• Experience working from engineering drawings, specifications, and written work instructions
• Experience with

VECAM/SAP

• Must have basic Assembly Aptitude
• Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
• Must be highly motivated and quick learner
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $37,400 – $65,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
