Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Overwrap Operator to join their team. As an Overwrap Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.

  What’s the Job?

Operate and monitor overwrap equipment during production to ensure quality output and minimal unplanned stops.
Adjust machines as needed for changeovers and varying production needs.
Conduct periodic quality checks to maintain product standards.
Read job jackets to ensure the correct product is used and monitor input/output accuracy.
Keep a daily activity log of production notes (including totals, defects etc)
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or GED, college education a plus
One year of manufacturing experience minimum (preferably in the print industry).
Ability to read and follow written work instructions on job jackets.
Ability to understand product labeling.
Willingness to work in a team environment and adhere to plant practices and procedures.
