Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible forthe safe operation of highly automated equipment used to fillsyringes. The Filling Technician is expected to model current GoodManufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with all safetystandards.
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work night shift (1800 to 0630) on a rotational schedulebetween workdays (2-2-3). Ability to work overtime Ability to wearsafety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective glovesetc.). Ability to work in a restricted environment (classifiedclean room space) for extended periods of time. Demonstratedability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge in adherence togoverning procedures. Ability to effectively communicate (writtenand verbal). Flexibility and problem-solving skills. Basic computerskills (desktop software) are required.
KeyObjectives/Deliverables:
Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies andprocedures, contribute to a safe work environment. Adhere tostandard operating procedures and current Good ManufacturingPractices to ensure quality of product. Support leadership onmanufacturing floor by ensuring high level of safety, quality, andproductivity to maintain reliable supply of products to patients.
Proactively monitor documentation and product quality, properlydocumenting all activities and reporting issues to supervision. Keysupport for leadership during troubleshooting, functions asreliable point of contact for issue escalation on the shop floor.
Assist Supervisor in development and training of shift operators.
Drives key departmental objectives including improving safetyperformance, reducing deviations, improving productivity, andtraining compliance.
Preferred Skills/Preferences:
Scientific/technical degrees or certifications. Knowledge ofcurrent Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs). Previous experiencewith Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
Previous experience utilizing solution filling equipment and/orisolator technology. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
