Position Overview:

The Production Technician is great entrylevel opportunity for recent university graduates as well asexperienced individuals that are interested in working in theproduction and manufacturing operations to produce vaccines. Theindividual in this position will support the manufacturing processthrough hands on activities such as Sterile Supply assemblies,Media formulations, Cell Culture proliferation,Virus propagation orvaccine purification. Key responsibilities for the AssociateTechnician include aseptic practice and GMP (Good ManufacturingPractices) adherence, working in a team environment to accomplishdepartmental goals, as well as the ability to direct your own workthrough leadership.

Essential Requirements:

The client iscompletely smoke free. Accordingly, Employees working onsite atthis client are not permitted to use any tobacco products at anytime on workplace property. This includes any indoor/outdoorlocation on company property, including previously designatedsmoking areas, parking areas, in company or personal vehicles andthe walking trails. Time constraints will likely make it impossiblefor you leave the client’s property in order to smoke during breaksexcept possibly during designated meal period times. It is anessential function of the role to be comfortable with not smokingduring work hours. Position requires aseptic gowning duringperformance of job duties. Aseptic gowning requires that all skinand hair are covered through wearing the following: beard/moustachecover, hair net, hood and facemask, goggles, jumpsuit, gloves andboots. Employees must abide by the aseptic gowning requirements asan essential requirement. Must be willing and able to lift, pushand pull 50 lbs. (Candidates must be willing to take a PhysicalAbility Testing as a condition of employment during prescreeningprocess) Must be willing to be vaccinated/blood tested for titerfor products manufactured within the facility Must be willing towork 12 hour shifts, including evenings (7pm – 7am) Must be willingto work a day or night 2 2 3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3days on) which will include weekends.
