is looking for a meticulous and well-versed Manufacturing Engineering Technician to develop ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes, design efficient systems that integrate workers, information, machines, energy, and material in order to minimize production issues and costs while ensuring products meet quality standards. Manufacturing Engineering Technician Your main responsibilities will be: Provides time studies, capacity analysis (manpower, tooling, capital, and facilities), line balancing, and crew loading, work sampling, and PC computer data analysis. Collects and analyzes data and metrics and presents the information to large audiences. Work closely with other discipline Engineers, Designers and Project Managers as a key team player within an integrated multi-disciplinary project delivery team. Support the Process Engineer on projects. Liaise with clients, contractor representatives and/or project field personnel as necessary to assist with meeting key project deliverables with ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve arising issues in a timely manner. Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes. Provides productivity planning with accompanying future strategies for improvement. Develops and maintains engineered time standards. Applies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing assembly processes, labor requirements, and production standards. Determines and improves processes to meet production levels. Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Associate degree (Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent) Minimum 2-years’ experience in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of a wide range of manufacturing principles, engineering practices, materials & physical sciences Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Recommends improvements to manufacturing methods and processes including utilization of personnel, material and utilities. Develops and maintains plant standards Plans, schedules and prioritizes work to meet established deadlines. Drafts and designs layout of equipment, materials and work centers to optimize material flow, labor efficiency, safety, quality, productivity and ergonomics. Read and interpret engineering drawings and machine specifications. Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, CAD Preferred Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred. Flexibility and willingness to travel Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
