Print Production & Graphics Technician AGC Signs 2040 Independence Commerce Dr Ste E, Matthews, NC 28105 Job Summary AGC Signs is seeking a Print Production & Graphics Technician to manage day-to-day operation of our large format printers, laminators, plotters, and related production equipment. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone experienced with sign-making workflows , preparing files for output, operating print equipment (including Roland and flatbed printers), and producing high-quality signage. You’ll be responsible for handling print jobs from file setup through finishing , with occasional support for vinyl application and on-site installs as needed. Experience with Illustrator or CorelDRAW and general sign shop production is essential. Key Responsibilities Operate large format printers (Roland and flatbed) and ensure accurate color and output quality Set up and prepare production files for printing, plotting, and CNC routing Run and maintain laminators, plotters, and related finishing equipment Cut, trim, mount, and assemble printed materials and signage Work with design and sales teams to ensure artwork is production-ready Apply vinyl graphics to substrates (occasionally on-site installations) Assist with shop fabrication when needed (panel prep, assembly, etc.) Maintain a clean, efficient workspace and troubleshoot minor equipment issues Track production progress and meet tight deadlines Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a sign shop or large-format print production environment Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (CorelDRAW, Photoshop a plus) Familiar with Roland and flatbed printers, laminators, and vinyl plotters Able to prepare and manage files for output and production Basic knowledge of substrates, adhesives, and materials used in signage Strong attention to detail, file organization, and finishing skills Comfortable with physical work (lifting, moving panels, standing during shifts) Vinyl application and installation experience is a plus , not a requirement Valid driver’s license and ability to assist on-site if needed Why Join AGC Signs?
