About the role:

The Extrusion Production Technician II is responsible for ensuring that the extrusion line runs efficiently resulting in high-quality products. This role is a key contributor to the team’s continuous improvement efforts in achieving monthly production metrics and in safety, quality, sustainability, and production costs. 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3:00 pm-11:00 pm What will you do: Perform machine setups, production, and development runs to hit desired product specifications with minimal oversight. Aid in the troubleshooting and general maintenance of extrusion equipment. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) when completing daily tasks. Use production travelers and other documentation to identify and confirm raw material accuracy prior to starting manufacturing runs. Mix, blend, dry, and transfer raw materials per product specifications. Comply and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all quality documentation is completed correctly. Perform inspection of final products to ensure that senior extrusion operators are completing operational reviews in a timely manner.

Who you are:

High school Diploma or equivalent required Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing, machine operations or a cleanroom environment Knowledge and ability to solve mathematical equations that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measure Effective communication and collaboration amongst co-workers and cross-functional teams Read, interpret, and utilize complex drawings, diagrams, and blueprints Proficiency in operating hand tools or power equipment Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Perks /
